Details

The 123-14SMAMRS is a precision SMA male right-angle connector engineered for low loss 240 coax cable (Low-Loss 240). The S suffix in the part number designates a solder-attach termination. The inner conductor solders to the cable center conductor; the outer conductor crimps to the braid. Built to the IEC 61169-15 reference standard with a brass body, gold-plated inner contact (Au 0.1 um), and copper/tin/zinc-plated outer shell (3 um). With a 50 Ohm characteristic impedance, DC-3 GHz operating range, and a maximum VSWR of 1.2 (return loss >= 20.8 dB).

The 90-degree body geometry routes the cable flush to chassis or bulkhead surfaces, freeing panel depth where straight SMAs would cantilever the assembly. Insertion loss tracks <= 0.06*sqrt(F) in GHz - approximately 0.10 dB at the 3 GHz upper limit. Insulation resistance is >= 5000 MOhm; proof voltage 1000 V; contact resistance < 3 mOhm inner, < 2 mOhm outer. A silicone rubber gasket on the mating face provides environmental sealing.
