Details
123-1-50 is a half-inch corrugated coaxial cable engineered for low-loss broadband feeder applications. The construction pairs a solid copper inner conductor with a foam polyethylene dielectric and a fully-formed corrugated copper outer conductor. A black UV-stable polyethylene jacket protects the cable for direct outdoor and rooftop runs.
Electrically, the cable provides 50 ohm characteristic impedance with a velocity of propagation of 88 percent. Usable bandwidth extends to 8.8 GHz, with attenuation of 0.81 dB per 100 ft at 150 MHz, 1.44 dB at 450 MHz, 2.07 dB at 900 MHz, and 3.02 dB at 1800 MHz. Peak power handling is 38 kW; the jacket withstands a 5 kV RMS spark test.
Typical deployments include cellular tower feeder runs, in-building distributed antenna systems, broadcast antenna lines, and SatCom installations where flexibility, low loss, and outdoor durability matter. Operating temperature range is -50 to +85 C, with a minimum repeated bend radius of about 5 inches (125 mm).

Why this part
When the run needs the flexibility to route around tight roof penetrations and tower legs but still keep the link budget healthy past 8 GHz, this half-inch foam-dielectric cable is a proven workhorse. The corrugated copper outer keeps loss low and shielding tight, while the polyethylene jacket shrugs off sun, rain, and seasonal temperature swings. Order by the foot, terminate to your preferred 1/2-inch connector, and you are set for years of outdoor service.
